Angermeier & Partner launches iOS project planning tool in 2 months with MobiDev

The German civil engineering firm Angermeier & Partner sought to create a free tool for managers overseeing large-scale projects. They partnered with vendor MobiDev to develop an iOS-based project management and planning application to meet this challenge.

MobiDev implemented a client-side only iOS application called Prommpt, which was developed in just two months. The solution enabled project managers to monitor the health of various project aspects, such as cost and scope, with all calculations performed locally on the device. For MobiDev, the project was a success; the tool was initially free but evolved into a paid SaaS solution that has since been adopted in over 200 international projects.
