The Defense Health Agency (DHA) faced the challenge of communicating a complex, multi-year rollout of a new electronic health records system across its vast network of over 150 locations. With deployment segmented into 23 different waves, clinic managers needed clear, digestible information to understand their roles and responsibilities. MO Studio was engaged to provide strategic communications and visual design services to simplify this complex transformation.

MO Studio leveraged human-centered design and rapid prototyping to create a comprehensive visual roadmap. This artifact detailed the 18-month transformation process, empowering military health leadership to effectively communicate the changes. The solution was so successful that commanders not yet in the deployment phase sought out copies from their peers. MO Studio’s work provided a lasting playbook that was later revised to support additional governance needs.
