A mLevel Case Study
IHG, a global hospitality company with nine brands across nearly 100 countries, wanted to innovate training for its North and Latin America Quality Team to improve consistency and the knowledge base of consultants who each oversee up to 60–70 hotels. To do this they partnered with mLevel, using the mLevel learning platform to deliver game-based, mobile training as an adjunct to instructor-led sessions.
mLevel’s mission-based games drove strong engagement and measurable learning gains: 96% of the team opted in and played an average of 26 short game sessions each, with knowledge accuracy rising after repeated plays (peaking at the 11th play for one game type and the 18th for others). Participants rated the experience 4.4/5 for fun, 9.2/10 said they would recommend mLevel, and 100% wanted games in future rollouts—results mLevel helped IHG leverage as they refreshed content and expanded missions.
