Super Star Forwarders Co. Ltd (SSF), a regional transport and distribution provider in East and Central Africa with a 203‑truck fleet, needed to reduce accidents, cut fuel costs, improve fleet utilisation and enhance customer service. To achieve this, SSF partnered with MiX Telematics and subscribed to MiX Fleet Manager, initially deploying a standalone system that was later migrated to MiX’s web‑based platform with real‑time tracking and driver behaviour monitoring (installed by channel partner Superdoll).

MiX Telematics’ solution was rolled out across all 203 trucks and combined technology, driver training and ongoing support to drive behavioral change. As a result, SSF cut overall accidents by 50%, recorded a 100% reduction in night‑time accidents (zero reported), reduced fuel consumption by 15% and increased fleet utilisation by 30% — measurable gains that strengthened customer trust and operational efficiency.
