Mix Helps MA Cargo Reduce Fuel By 25% And Accidents By 40%

MA Cargo, a Tanzania-based cargo carrier, was struggling with high fuel and maintenance costs, poor turnaround times and risky night driving that threatened cargo safety. The company engaged MiX Telematics (through channel partner Superdoll) and subscribed to MiX Fleet Manager to tackle driver behaviour, operational efficiency and compliance across its fleet.

MiX Telematics deployed on‑board devices and the DynaMiX/Fleet Manager platform across 133 trucks, using live and historical tracking, driver‑behaviour, event and fuel reports and a mobile app. As a result MA Cargo cut fuel consumption by 25%, reduced accidents by 40% (from five to two), improved delivery times by 42% (roughly seven to four days on the DRC route) and improved cargo safety by 75% (four incidents to one), and is rolling the MiX Telematics solution out to additional vehicles.
