Carey Worldwide Chauffeur Services (Carey), a premium chauffeur operator with a c.150‑vehicle fleet, faced growing risk as the business expanded — more vehicles and drivers, heavier traffic and rising cyclist numbers increased incident exposure. To maintain passenger safety and comfort and raise driver awareness, Carey engaged MiX Telematics and adopted the MiX Fleet Manager solution alongside the RIBAS Display and the MyMiX Driver app.

MiX Telematics combined its MiX Fleet Manager platform, in‑cab RIBAS scoring, the MyMiX app and targeted driver workshops delivered by a MiX consultant. The programme drove measurable safety gains: a 20% reduction in incidents/accidents, a 30% drop in harsh braking events and the proportion of drivers in the “green” zone increasing from 18% to 50% within 12 months — achieved while the driver pool grew by more than 40% — delivering improved passenger comfort, lower vehicle wear and cost savings.
