Cardiff Bus, the council‑owned bus operator in Cardiff with a 220‑vehicle fleet, was hit by rising fuel prices and a 25% cut in the Regional Transport Services Grant but could not pass costs on to passengers. To control fuel spend and improve driver behaviour they chose MiX Telematics’ Fleet Management solution, deploying FM Communicator, RIBAS Display and FM‑Web alongside driver training.
