Auto Bus Moratense, a public transport operator based in Francisco Morato, São Paulo with 111 buses and about 700 employees, needed to cut fuel consumption and become more eco-friendly. The company partnered with MiX Telematics and deployed the MiX Fleet Manager solution to monitor fuel use per driver and drive improvements in operational efficiency.

MiX Telematics implemented onboard data collection, real‑time MiX Fleet Manager reporting, and targeted driver training and scoreboards to change driving behavior. The program (implemented July 2018) delivered verified average fuel reductions of 13.7% (10–15% across vehicle models), a single-driver improvement of 23%, and measurable cost and environmental benefits plus ongoing incentives and training.
