A Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions Case Study
Xi’an Xianyang International Airport, China’s eighth largest airport handling over 30 million passengers annually across 360,000 m², needed a scalable monitoring and control solution to manage rapidly growing energy use, temperature control and a widening array of equipment and data sources. To meet those needs, the airport partnered with Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions and selected ICONICS GENESIS64 HMI/SCADA along with GraphWorX64, EarthWorX, Hyper Historian, WebHMI and the AnalytiX suite.
Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions deployed GENESIS64 and complementary ICONICS software on redundant servers with role-based remote access, enabling 3D/GIS visualization, high-speed historical data storage, centralized energy center monitoring and automated fault analysis. The solution improved heat production management, operational efficiency and maintenance response, provided preventative fault detection via Facility AnalytiX, and centralized energy monitoring with Energy AnalytiX to help control energy-related costs across the airport.
