A Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions Case Study
TGA, the system integrator working with the Austria Center Vienna (ACV), was tasked with modernizing the building controls of one of Austria’s largest conference centers—improving security, lighting, blinds, heating and ventilation while enabling comprehensive energy monitoring and connectivity across a complex, high-availability IT environment. To meet these needs they selected Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions’ GENESIS64 building automation and HMI/SCADA software.
Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions implemented GENESIS64 on a virtualized two‑server setup (one in cold standby) with five client workstations, integrating HVAC, lighting, energy management, security and more via BACnet and a BACnet gateway for 100 M‑Bus energy meters. The system now processes about 15,000 data points (≈7,000 active), was deployed in roughly six months with reduced development costs and minimal hardware upgrades, and enabled new device connections and expanded energy monitoring and analysis—delivering faster, more unified facility control and easier operations.
