Rimske Terme, a historic business, wellness and spa resort in Rimske Toplice, Slovenia, needed to modernize its building management system to integrate hotel room temperature controls, emergency/security, HVAC, lighting, fuel and power stations, and various pump systems across multiple buildings with different HVAC types. Working with system integrator Robotina d.o.o., Rimske Terme selected Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions’ GENESIS64 HMI/SCADA software to deliver a unified, flexible BMS that could handle room-level differences and centralize monitoring and control.

Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions implemented GENESIS64 connected via OPC to more than 200 programmable controllers (with CAN bus I/O), integrating presence sensors, card-holder guest detection, open-window sensors, HVAC scheduling modes, lighting, security and plant systems into a single platform. The solution enabled automatic start/stop and mode changes for energy savings, adaptive scheduling and centralized remote control (including mobile maintenance stations), resulting in reduced unnecessary energy consumption, simplified operation for staff and secure, scalable BMS oversight.
