Port of Koper - Customer Case Study

The Port of Koper, Slovenia’s largest multi-use port, faced fragmented control systems across expanding terminals that handle containers, vehicles, bulk and conveyor equipment. To modernize and consolidate operations, Port of Koper, working with system integrator Robotina, selected Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions’ GENESIS64 and GENESIS32 HMI/SCADA and building automation suites.

Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions implemented a unified GENESIS32-to-GENESIS64 solution that integrated over 12,000 tags from PLCs, sensors and multiple equipment vendors and tied into the port’s SQL Server, Exchange and TOS/port-management applications. The deployment replaced numerous competitor systems, delivered standardization that enables faster system‑wide changes, and improved operational efficiency and 24/7 readiness for the Port of Koper.
