Odense University Hospital - Customer Case Study

Odense University Hospital (Svendborg Hospital) faced disparate, outdated automation systems across its campus and needed a single, open-standard platform for easier operation and better monitoring. Working with system integrator AutomationLab, the hospital selected Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions and deployed ICONICS products including GENESIS64, Hyper Historian, TrendWorX64, AlarmWorX64 and AssetWorX to unify building controls and data.

Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions delivered a centralized BMS that consolidated monitoring and control into one location and one operator view, routed alarms to the main Odense site (eliminating the need for overnight on-site operations), and unified templates and data logging for simpler benchmarking and analytics. The result is faster situational awareness from a single monitor, easier external maintenance, consolidated historical data for alarm management and energy-optimization, and higher maintenance and operational efficiency with plans to add more buildings.
