Mohegan Sun, the Mohegan Tribe–owned resort and casino in Uncasville, CT, needed reliable, centralized monitoring and control of its complex mechanical systems to protect guest comfort and safety across a 34‑story hotel, casino floor, arena and supporting facilities. To meet that challenge they engaged Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions and deployed ICONICS GENESIS32™, including GraphWorX™ for HMI visualization, AlarmWorX™ for alarm management and TrendWorX™ for live and historical data logging.
Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions implemented a GraphWorX32‑based graphic interface with AlarmWorX32 and TrendWorX to monitor and control chillers, boilers, ~60 air handling units (including four arena AHUs moving 200,000 cfm in smoke mode), ~250 VAV boxes, ~30 exhaust fans and numerous sensors. The system delivered web‑style visualization and best‑in‑class alarming that made operations easier to manage, improved situational awareness, and now actively monitors hundreds of devices to ensure guest comfort and faster response to events.
