A Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions Case Study
Longmont United Hospital in Longmont, CO needed a centralized building automation and monitoring solution to manage HVAC, emergency power, technical gas, patient-level climate control and campus alarming so staff could maintain patient comfort and respond quickly to incidents. Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions supplied ICONICS software—most notably GENESIS32 WebHMI with AlarmWorX32 Multimedia and TrendWorX32—to provide the platform for facility-wide control and visibility.
Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions’ solution (implemented and integrated by RSI Company) delivered remote WebHMI access, real-time alarm notifications to pagers and cell phones, and continuous trending/reporting, while linking panic buttons and patient climate controls into the BMS. The deployment enabled operators to monitor and adjust systems remotely, receive immediate alerts, and proactively correct issues before patients were affected, improving operational responsiveness and giving facilities staff actionable data for analysis and training.
