Lincoln Wastewater System - Customer Case Study

Lincoln Wastewater System, which operates 970 miles of sanitary sewers, 14 pumping stations and two treatment plants treating about 23.5 million gallons per day, needed a modern, resilient SCADA/HMI solution to centrally monitor and control pumps, aeration basins, solids processing and remote lift stations while providing remote access and reporting. Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions was engaged to supply the ICONICS GENESIS32 HMI/SCADA suite plus WebHMI, BridgeWorX, ReportWorX and PortalWorX to meet those needs.

Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions deployed GENESIS32 servers with multiple browser stations across the City fiber network, configured plant-to-plant failover, WebHMI remote graphics/alarming/trending, BridgeWorX logging to SQL Server and ReportWorX automated daily reporting. The system now controls and monitors processes handling roughly 23.5 MGD, provides redundancy between plants, enables remote trending for operations and maintenance, and delivers automated reports to key staff — improving visibility, reliability and operational decision-making.
