Lake Cities Municipal Utility Authority (Lake Dallas, TX) faced an aging, fragmented SCADA environment—three competing systems producing inconsistent operating data, frequent false alarms, high call-out costs, and failing equipment—while needing DNP3 support and integration with Servelec Tbox PLC/RTU hardware at every site. Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions unified LCMUA’s monitoring and control into a single, secure real‑time system with mobile “Any Glass” access, robust historian and multimedia alarm/notification capabilities. The deployment improved visualization and control of 21 lift stations, tanks and dozens of pumps, reduced false alarms and call-outs, sped response times, optimized staff allocation and lowered downtime—results LCMUA describes as “top notch” visualization, “solid” alarming and “very fast” data mobility.
