To meet needs for scalability, multilingual operation, IT integration and regulatory traceability, KHS standardized on solutions from Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions, deploying the ICONICS GENESIS32 software suite (including GraphWorX) to connect to Siemens S7 PLCs and I/O.

Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions implemented GENESIS32 with GraphWorX, GenBroker and OPC/Profibus connectivity, plus the ICONICS Security Server for FDA 21 CFR Part 11–style audit trails and multi-level security. The solution enabled global language switching and reusable graphics, integrated with enterprise databases, and supported ACF filling at 68°F (20°C), eliminating the need for preservatives and improving product quality for Eckes-Granini — while delivering substantial engineering and support savings and meeting KHS’s performance expectations.
