International Union of Operating Engineers improves IAQ monitoring across 265-acre campus with Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions

The International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) needed a way to both train members and efficiently run its International Training & Education Center in Crosby, Texas, while integrating multiple building automation systems from different vendors. Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions provided the GENESIS64 HMI/SCADA platform and AnalytiX Suite to create a centralized, vendor-agnostic automation environment with real-time access to building data and addressable devices.

Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions implemented GENESIS during the COVID pandemic, enabling remote deployment and giving IUOE visibility across all campus systems, better monitoring of comfort and indoor air quality, and actionable historical analytics. The solution helped improve operational intelligence, reduce energy and maintenance costs, and support proactive fault detection, while also giving students access to real-time data from actual equipment for advanced building automation classes.
