Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board needed to improve monitoring, control and auditing of water supply and sewage systems across a large, fast‑growing city facing seasonal scarcity. Working with Nish Automation, the board selected Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions’ GENESIS64 HMI/SCADA and BizViz components (including GraphWorX64, TrendWorX64, WebHMI and ReportWorX) to collect, visualize and manage distributed operational data from its treatment and supply facilities.

Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions deployed GENESIS64 on industrial PCs, five WebHMI nodes and ReportWorX, connecting to 84 Remote Terminal Units (with Schneider PLCs) via seven Matrix Simado GDT11 fixed cellular terminals and a Moxa NPort 5610, and integrating Siemens flow meters and level transmitters for SCADA-based water auditing. The solution delivered real‑time OPC data, local and remote connectivity, historical trending, 2D/3D graphics and flexible reporting (including SQL Server integration), enabling city‑wide monitoring and control and supporting a more reliable water supply for Hyderabad’s residents.
