A Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions Case Study
Fraîcheur de Paris, the new operator of one of the world’s largest district cooling networks in Paris, needed to replace an obsolete control system with a modern HMI/SCADA that offered web connectivity, better database handling, data-mining tools and 24/7 real-time monitoring across 10 production sites, 4 storage sites and some 765 customers. After a year-long benchmark, Fraîcheur de Paris selected Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions’ GENESIS64 platform (with Hyper Historian, WebHMI, ReportWorX64 and BridgeWorX64) and partnered with integrator ACTEMIUM to implement the project.
Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions delivered an autonomous, configurable HMI/SCADA solution that enables real-time changes, easier deployment at new sites, secure user access and multi-screen visualization; it now supervises cooling supply across the network (serving ~765 customers, ~6 million m² and supporting ~490 GWh/year), manages real-time and historical alarms, controls multiple substations and logs years of operational data for reporting. The ICONICS solution also improved deployment efficiency and issue resolution through local support, increasing system availability and operational visibility for Fraîcheur de Paris.
