East Coast Water & Wastewater Company - Customer Case Study
East Coast Water & Wastewater Company (ECWW) is a large East Coast water production and sewage-treatment operator that needed statewide, real-time supervision and alarm/trend visibility across 32 plants and thousands of I/O points. Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions was engaged to provide SCADA and web-based visualization capabilities using ICONICS GENESIS32, WebHMI and related modules to give operations, maintenance and management secure, remote access to plant data.
Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions deployed over 70 GENESIS32 workstations, GenBroker-enabled WebHMI pages, AlarmWorX32 logging and OPC connectivity (integrated with Bristol Babcock RTU I/O) to deliver 650 screens and access to roughly 12,000 I/O points (6,000 via 350 WebHMI pages) for more than 200 users. The solution produced real-time monitoring and alarm notification (including multimedia paging), centralized security and historical archiving, yielding statewide, on-demand visibility, faster response to faults and a cost‑effective, supported system now in routine use across ECWW’s plants.
