Cyberlogic Technologies, Inc. - Customer Case Study

Cyberlogic Technologies, Inc., a leading independent supplier of industrial communication drivers and servers, needed an enterprise traceability system to help a large soft drink bottling customer track ingredients and finished products back to their original sources and enable targeted recalls. To meet this challenge, Cyberlogic based its solution on Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions' software suite, using GENESIS32 visualization (GraphWorX32), ReportWorX reporting and WebHMI for web-based access.

Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions supplied the visualization and reporting platform while Cyberlogic provided OPC connectivity, enabling real-time data collection from over 2,500 I/O points across four production lines (10 PLCs per line) via a Cyberlogic DHX OPC Server. The integrated system allowed tracing from bottle codes to ingredient batches and generated shipment reports, enabling single-bottle or lot-level recalls, faster diagnostics and reporting—saving the customer potentially thousands of dollars by avoiding full-lot recalls.
