A Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions Case Study
The City of Enid, Oklahoma β which manages water production, distribution and reclamation for about 50,000 residents (averaging 11 million gallons daily, peaking at 20 million) β needed to replace an aging push-button/ActiveX control system across its 140 wells, two treatment plants and multiple pump stations. They selected Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions and deployed ICONICS GENESIS64 64βbit HMI/SCADA along with GraphWorX64, WebHMI and the ICONICS OPC Server Suite to modernize visualization, control and OPC connectivity.
Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions delivered a GENESIS64-based solution in a 60-day development cycle that integrated with Koyo PLCs, wireless/serial networks and Microsoft SQL Server, bringing over 1,400 tags online, exact 3D views of remote stations and browser-based access via WebHMI. The result is a secure, user-friendly HMI/SCADA platform with OPC interoperability, easier in-house configuration, and immediate web/mobile access for operators β enabling expanded water and upcoming wastewater system deployments.
