Baliwag Water District, a government-owned utility in the Philippines, faced an aging SCADA system that forced operators to rely on manual logbooks and on-site checks for remote pumping stations. To modernize operations and enable phased upgrades, Baliwag partnered with FS Automation and Solutions Inc., which implemented software from Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions (ICONICS), including GENESIS64, GraphWorX64, Hyper Historian, MobileHMI, TrendWorX64 and AlarmWorX64.

Using Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions’ SCADA suite, Baliwag gained remote monitoring and control of pumping and booster stations, automated real-time daily reports and parameter logging, and began tracking pump and VFD KPIs for better preventive maintenance. The deployment delivered measurable operational visibility—dashboard KPIs (e.g., pump efficiency shown at 74.99 and other pump values displayed at 55.70/60.00), faster reporting, improved workflows, and higher overall efficiency, helping Baliwag become a regional benchmark for water districts.
