Autocesta Zagreb-Macelj Ltd., the operator of the 59.2 km Zagreb–Macelj motorway in Croatia, needed to modernize and centralize traffic monitoring, tunnel and road automation, and maintenance operations from a single control center while preserving .NET compatibility, scalability, redundancy and advanced UI/UX. Working with system integrator LED Elektronika, they selected Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions’ GENESIS64 platform (with AlarmWorX64, TrendWorX64, GraphWorX64, ReportWorX64 and GridWorX) to enhance their existing PrecisionX SCADA and meet stringent safety and performance requirements.

Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions’ GENESIS64-based solution was implemented by LED Elektronika to provide fast backend setup (weeks instead of months), object-oriented asset modeling, automated field and global traffic workflows, fire-response scenarios and full client/server redundancy. The deployment cut backend engineering hours by 5x–7x and front-end hours by 2x–4x, delivered real-time reliable traffic surveillance and intuitive web-compatible GUIs, reduced routine operator actions, and enabled ongoing expansion of traffic subsystems and advanced features.
