The Congress Center Austria Center Vienna (acv), the largest conference center in Austria, faced the challenge of implementing a building control system for its large facility that required immediate integration with existing security, lighting, blinds, heating, and ventilation systems. The center needed a solution that would demand minimal to no equipment upgrades for installation. They worked with Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions to deploy the GENESIS64 building automation and HMI/SCADA software suite.

Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions implemented GENESIS64, a BACnet-compatible software suite that integrated the building's diverse systems into a single, unified interface without requiring major hardware upgrades. The solution resulted in a significant reduction in development costs and allowed the project to be completed quickly. It also expanded device integration, enabling new devices to be connected via BACnet that were never connected before and setting the stage for further expansion of energy monitoring and analysis.
