ARMO Group - Customer Case Study

ARMO Group, the Moscow-based building systems and automation firm responsible for the West Tower of the Federation Tower complex, faced the challenge of centrally managing a supertall mixed‑use building with over 21,000 data points, 1,600 automated devices and more than 20 digital integrations across HVAC, power, cooling, fire, lighting, elevators and security. To meet this scale, planners selected Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions’ OEM implementation of the ICONICS GENESIS32 Web‑enabled, OPC‑integrated HMI/SCADA suite (used within Johnson Controls’ Metasys M5) to provide enterprise‑grade visualization and integration.

Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions implemented a scalable, fault‑tolerant GENESIS32 solution with multiple workstations (seven fixed, two portable), integration via LonWorks, N2, Modbus and BACnet, and centralized archiving to clustered servers and a multi‑panel video wall. The deployment unified over 21,000 data points across critical systems, supports 41 MVA of electrical load and 35 MW of cooling, enables BACnet communication with the East Tower, and delivers measurable benefits—improved trend analysis, alarm management, web access and GUI personalization—with a roadmap to scale to 50,000 data points.
