North Coast Electric, a Seattle-based electrical distributor with 600 employees and 34 locations, needed to augment Epicor Eclipse with advanced reporting and analytics. As a report-driven company, it wanted access to information that could help it measure quickly and identify issues without building reporting tools in-house.

MITS provided MITS Distributor Analytics, including MITS Discover and MITS Report, to support separate reporting servers, daily data updates, and analytics-ready cubes. The company said the system gave it actionable information and insights, saved hours of time on a regular basis, and improved use of scarce IT resources, with 90 percent of reporting now done away from the Eclipse server. North Coast Electric also grew to nearly 350 users and used dashboards, scorecards, and self-service reporting to support business teams.
