Pointe Precision flies through manufacturing challenges with Epicor Avanté and MITS Report

Pointe Precision Inc., a Wisconsin-based precision CNC machining company serving aerospace, medical equipment, industrial power generation, and other industries, needed a better way to work with data in Epicor Avanté. Its existing Report Wizard had stopped being developed, and business users wanted reporting capabilities the old tool could not provide.

Pointe Precision chose MITS Report from MITS and implemented it in January 2008. The deployment was described as smooth, and version 2.0 later integrated Avanté and Advanced Quality Management data in a single report. With MITS, the company created more than 40 report sources, cut a report upgrade to less than 15 minutes, improved scheduling and problem-solving, and in one case eliminated what could have been a three-day wait for critical gauging data.
