A MITS Case Study
Flodraulic Group, an Indiana-based custom fluid power solutions and equipment distributor with 10 inventory, manufacturing, and sales facilities across several states and multiple locations in Canada, had grown through acquisitions and needed a better way to standardize reporting and analytics across its operations. After reviewing business intelligence options in the distribution space, the company brought in MITS to help make sense of customer, sales, inventory, and accounts receivable data.
MITS’ interactive reporting software reduced the time Tyler Ellis spent running monthly reports from a week to 1 hour, helping cut a process that once took about 3 weeks down to much less time for decision-making. Flodraulic Group said the system saved roughly 40 hours per week of reporting work and would pay for itself in less than 2 years, while also helping the company spot trends, diagnose issues in 30 seconds, and improve order entry processes in Prophet 21.
