By integrating Lawtrac with other systems, KONE gained accurate, consolidated cost and case data that improved reserve-setting and decision-making, enabled flat-fee agreements with outside counsel, and allowed litigation costs to be charged back to business units. The result: new case filings fell 27% and outside counsel expenses dropped 29%, with ongoing automation initiatives (subpoena processing and document management) further strengthening compliance and efficiency.
