The United States Department of Justice needed a scalable way to produce and standardize litigation paperwork across its 94 U.S. Attorneys’ offices and thousands of staff. To meet that need, the department adopted Mitratech HotDocs’ HotDocs document automation software to centralize and accelerate document generation.

Mitratech HotDocs implemented a broad rollout—providing five HotDocs Developer licenses to each of the 94 district offices and a nationwide total of 15,000 HotDocs User licenses—alongside centralized training (including video instruction) and a Microsoft SharePoint portal for sharing standardized components. The result was organization-wide adoption of automated, consistent litigation documents across all districts, demonstrated by the full deployment to 94 offices and 15,000 users and by faster, standardized paperwork production.
