The Largest U.S. Insurance Company, a national auto, property and casualty insurer with more than 50,000 employees and a nationwide network of captive law offices, needed to replace a custom Visual Basic document-assembly system to reduce internal programming, improve standardization, and maintain high-quality, consistent litigation documents. They selected Mitratech HotDocs to provide a standardized document automation platform.

Mitratech HotDocs worked with the company’s central support staff—deploying HotDocs servers, training template authors, and integrating the HotDocs Document Portal with the insurer’s case management system so documents are pre-populated and completed via HotDocs interviews into Microsoft Word. The solution was rolled out to all law offices, now supporting more than 20,000 templates in one of the largest HotDocs implementations in the U.S., reducing internal development needs while improving document accuracy, consistency, and generation speed.
