EuroSort (formerly United Sortation Solutions) is an Owings Mills, MD–based manufacturer of custom material handling equipment, designing and producing solutions for elevation changes, product diverting, stacking/unstacking, rotation and sortation since 2003. The company relied on QuickBooks, Excel and an in‑house MRP until a large three‑year purchase order from Northrop Grumman/USPS exposed the limits of those tools for managing the volume of components and transactions required.

EuroSort added MISys Manufacturing alongside QuickBooks to handle long‑range scheduling of large item counts while keeping QuickBooks for billing. MISys went live immediately, enabling supplier cost comparisons, supplier quality tracking and inventory control; the best‑of‑breed approach proved faster, less disruptive and less costly than replacing the accounting system with an all‑in‑one ERP.
