Schleifring North America, an Elgin, IL–based subsidiary that designs and manufactures electrical slip rings and contactless rotary joints, was managing manufacturing data across Sage 50 Quantum Accounting and numerous Excel spreadsheets. That split system left them without adequate reporting, data consolidation or easy reconciliation, slowing ordering, materials handling, purchasing and production planning.

In 2011 Schleifring implemented MISys Manufacturing, which centralized data, simplified entry and improved reporting while interfacing with Sage and Excel. The MISys labor tracker also automated time capture into manufacturing orders, reducing adjustments and manual labor-cost postings. After nearly three years they report automatic costing plus measurable gains in efficiency and accuracy, with fewer hours spent entering and correcting data.
