EuroSort, formerly United Sortation Solutions, designs and manufactures material handling equipment and ran its business with QuickBooks, Excel spreadsheets, and an in-house MRP system. When a large three-year purchase order from Northrop Grumman Corporation/USPS came in, EuroSort found its existing system could not handle the volume of components and transactions, leading them to look for a manufacturing control solution from MISys Manufacturing.

MISys Manufacturing provided the scheduling and MRP capabilities EuroSort needed to manage large quantities of items over long time periods while still keeping QuickBooks for billing. EuroSort was able to start using MISys the same day, and the company continued to track supplier costs, supplier quality, and inventory on hand. The result was a simpler, faster, and less expensive approach than switching to a full ERP system, with no disruptive conversions or implementations.
