BMI International is a Florida-based medical device manufacturer that produces prefabricated rehabilitative orthotics. The company was managing inventory in QuickBooks Enterprise but experienced inventory miscalculations that caused production delays, so operations manager Reb Sauls sought a more capable system to support their manufacturing processes.

In 2010 they added MISys Manufacturing integrated with QuickBooks, which provided daily stock status reports and replenishment planning tools. MISys enabled timely reordering at minimum levels, eliminated inventory shortfalls, improved material planning, and kept manufacturing on schedule.
