Melbourne’s Alamanda College Graduates to AI‑Driven Network Operations

Alamanda College, a rapidly growing K–9 government school in Melbourne serving about 3,000 students and 250 staff, needed reliable campus‑wide wired and wireless connectivity to support 1:1 learning devices and simplify ICT operations. Facing intermittent classroom connectivity and roughly 10 daily Wi‑Fi complaints, the school adopted Mist AI (the Juniper Mist Platform, including Wi‑Fi Assurance, Wired Assurance, Marvis, EX3400 switches and Juniper access points) to deliver a cloud‑managed, AI‑driven network.

Mist AI implemented a cohesive Juniper Mist solution with zero‑touch provisioning and simple AP adoption, using AI‑powered visibility and automation to detect and remediate issues like misconfigured VLANs, bad cables, DHCP timeouts and RF DFS timeouts. As a result, daily Wi‑Fi complaints dropped from about 10 to zero, troubleshooting and provisioning became much faster with no formal training required, and reliable connectivity now supports roughly 5,000 devices on campus.
