Case Study: Sporveien builds a stronger, more visible brand with Mission’s new visual identity

A Mission Case Study

Preview of the Sporveien Case Study

Sporveien boosts visibility and employee pride with Mission

The customer, Sporveien, a key public transport provider in Oslo, faced a challenge with low brand visibility and a lack of a unifying identity. With several subsidiaries and thousands of employees operating under an old name, Kollektivtransportproduksjon, they needed a new strategy to increase market awareness and aid recruitment. The vendor, Mission, was engaged to provide services including brand strategy and a new brand identity.

Mission designed a new visual identity featuring a logo with two arrows forming an 'S' to symbolize bringing the city and people closer together. This flexible system, including typography and graphics, created a modern and robust profile. The solution implemented by Mission resulted in significantly increased visibility for Sporveien and excellent internal feedback, with the new brand being crucial to building a strong company culture and achieving strategic objectives.
