Narvesen rolls out new identity across 350 stores with Mission

Narvesen, a convenience store chain with 350 outlets across Norway, faced a radical shift in the retail sector after over a decade without brand investment. The customer commissioned the design agency Mission to review its situation and make recommendations to revitalize its neglected brand purpose and strengthen its connection with customers.

Mission developed a new brand identity and strategy centered on the concept of "Flow," which was visually expressed through a redesigned logo called the Helix. This new identity system, including signage and wayfinding, was implemented across all touchpoints. As a result, Mission's work helped Narvesen achieve first place in its category in the Norwegian Customer Satisfaction Barometer, measuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. The new identity is being rolled out across all 350 locations.
