ZappRx, a secure online platform for managing specialty medications, needed to rapidly expand its computing capacity as demand grew. The company had to choose between building and operating its own on-premise data center or moving to the cloud, while also deciding whether to hire an internal team or partner with a managed service provider. With HIPAA compliance a critical requirement, ZappRx turned to Mission and AWS for guidance.

Mission helped ZappRx design and migrate its environment to AWS, building development, testing, demo, and production environments and enabling automated code promotion across them through its Managed DevOps services. Mission also supported HIPAA compliance, security, and ongoing monitoring through Cloud One. As a result, ZappRx eliminated capital and staffing costs tied to a traditional data center, improved scalability and automation, and gave internal IT teams more time to focus on strategic work while maintaining a secure, compliant platform.
