Case Study: Precision for Medicine achieves HIPAA-compliant, scalable AWS infrastructure with Mission Cloud Services

A Mission Case Study

Preview of the Precision for Medicine Case Study

Precision For Medicine - Customer Case Study

Precision for Medicine (PFM) needed help migrating its PATH™ instances from a messy, manually built set of individual VMs into a new AWS environment. The company lacked the resources, manpower, and expertise to manage the move, while also needing a cost-efficient, scalable setup that could support frequent client audits and strict healthcare compliance requirements such as HIPAA.

Mission Cloud Services implemented a managed AWS solution with Managed DevOps and Mission Cloud One, helping Precision for Medicine build a secure, scalable PATH™ platform. Mission also set up an ELK stack, AWS Config and CloudTrail, Amazon SES, CloudFront/WAF, and improved security groups and autoscaling with Chef. As a result, Precision for Medicine migrated successfully, gained a HIPAA-compliant and redundant environment, improved log capture for audits, and controlled costs while saving time.
