Preview of the Intruity Case Study

Intruity Leverages Mission’s Cloud Expertise To Migrate To AWS Ahead Of Hurricane Season And To Improve Application Performance

Intruity, a SaaS provider of applications for the insurance industry, wanted to move its on-premises IT infrastructure to the cloud to improve disaster recovery, application performance, scalability, security, and compliance. Intruity partnered with Mission to design and support the migration, using AWS as the target cloud platform.

Mission implemented an AWS-based environment with services including EC2, S3, VPC, AWS Directory Service, Security Hub, CloudTrail, Config, and Backup. The new setup improved uptime, resiliency, and response times, cut server spin-up time from 1 hour to 30 minutes, reduced initial infrastructure costs by 30%, and lowered the cost of new servers by 25% versus the on-premises data center, while also strengthening security and streamlining SOC 2 audits.
