Webconnex turned to Mission’s Cloud Elevate service as its application workloads grew and it prepared to move from a traditional AWS setup to a Kubernetes microservices architecture. The company needed help streamlining DevOps, strengthening security, and configuring AWS to better support faster testing, deployment, and scaling without pulling developers away from building customer-facing applications.

Mission implemented a more secure AWS environment with three separate VPCs for production, development, and bastion access, along with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and support for AWS EKS auto-scaling. As a result, Webconnex improved application stability and security, sped up developer response to customer needs, reduced DevOps costs versus hiring full-time staff or contractors, and cut database migration downtime to about 30 minutes.
