A Mission Case Study
Faena Group, a hospitality and cultural real estate company, was an existing AWS customer struggling with legacy sites, including a critical commerce site that handled hotel booking revenue. The site performed poorly and experienced frequent outages, so they needed Mission to provide a new, well-architected AWS environment with a highly available, auto-scaled WordPress site, along with ongoing support, monitoring, patching, and migration from existing EC2 instances.
Mission redeployed the platform into AWS using best-practice governance and risk management, while improving security, reliability, and shared-responsibility operations across a more complex cloud footprint. As a result, Mission resolved major performance issues, optimized the legacy site’s performance, and helped Faena Group align with AWS security best practices.
