EyeNetra, a Massachusetts-based venture-backed startup behind the Netra G smartphone optical measurement system, needed a secure way to upload many large, high-resolution image files to a HIPAA-compliant server. The company turned to Mission for help designing a cloud environment that could support its growing product needs and future usage growth cost-effectively.

Mission built EyeNetra a virtual private cloud (VPC) infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS), tailored to its security, scalability, and compliance requirements. With Mission’s AWS VPC expertise, EyeNetra gained end-to-end cloud security through encryption at rest and in flight, high availability via multiple availability zones and backup/restore strategies, and improved database performance through tuning, replication, and encryption services.
