Expands Research & Analysis Compute Capacity

Ultivue, a biomolecular analysis company known for its InSituPlex technology, was growing quickly and found that its on-premises IT infrastructure could no longer keep up. The company began seeing slower application response times and needed storage and compute capacity that could scale more effectively.

Mission helped Ultivue move its on-premises IT environment to Amazon Web Services (AWS), using multi-availability zones, automatic failover to a backup environment, common authentication for on-prem and cloud users, load balancing, and auto-scaling nodes. As a result, Ultivue’s application performance became consistent even as user count tripled, and the move also eliminated the need for large upfront capital expenses for new on-premises data centers.
