Dunn Brothers Coffee, a multi-unit high-end coffee franchise with more than 69 locations, was struggling to manage complex comp rules and reporting across multiple systems. Its spreadsheets had become difficult to update and distribute, and its existing POS reporting tools couldn’t accurately calculate key metrics like item comps and net sales. Dunn Brothers turned to Mirus for help with reporting accuracy and data aggregation.

Mirus implemented an ETL process to code, apply, and automatically compute comp rules across data from loyalty, online ordering, and two POS systems. Mirus Enterprise replaced spreadsheets with reports, dashboards, and alerts that non-technical staff could use easily, improving efficiency and accuracy. As a result, Dunn Brothers spent less time on manual data handling and more time analyzing results, and the team described Mirus as “the easiest and most powerful” reporting platform they had used.
