Butterfly Network, a company dedicated to democratizing medical imaging, faced the challenge of building a worldwide e-commerce platform to distribute its handheld ultrasound probes. Their complex requirements included supporting multiple currencies and languages, a sophisticated subscription model with different plans for individuals and organizations, and managing data from different sales sources. They partnered with Mirumee to develop this bespoke solution.

Mirumee implemented and has continuously enhanced a custom e-commerce platform for Butterfly Network since 2019. The solution included a multi-regional store, a cloud subscription service, and a redesigned checkout experience, giving Butterfly full control over the order process. As a result of this partnership, the platform now directly sells to 18 countries in 4 languages, and thousands of Butterfly devices have been shipped worldwide.
